Maplewood Meats provides custom processing for your livestock including beef, pork, lamb, and bison. We are a State inspected meat processing facility that complies to all State and Federal regulations. We adhere to strict guidelines for sanitation procedures and our plant is Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) certified. Our processing facility is devoted to ensuring proper handling of livestock through our Humane Handling Program and highly trained staff.
Here at Maplewood Meats we dry age your beef to develop a unique flavor profile and we continuously strive to improve the factors that effect the quality of the meat protein from farm to table. Slaughtering of beef, pork, lamb, and bison is carried out once per week, on Tuesdays. Delivery for animals is from 7:30am to 4:00pm the day (Monday) before the upcoming slaughter date. There are a limited number of spaces on our butchering schedule; therefore all animals must be scheduled in advance. View our current pricing for pork and beef processing.
Don’t know a local producer or all spots on the butchering schedule are reserved? Here at Maplewood Meats we offer beef and pork packages that are high quality cuts, vacuum sealed and sharp frozen. Note: If you are purchasing a split half your request for cuts must match the other receiving party. We do require that if they do not match bone in cuts will be processed for both parties
